Happy New Year Bob, and thanks for your kind words.I wrongly believed that Centauro's were un attractive until I saw one live.
I have owned five (5) Guzzi's in my lifetime, and this is by far my favorite...plus, they only made 245 "GT's" in 1998, and only 1,918 total Centauro's from 1997-2000. I have "upgraded and sorted" all the known faults for this model this bike, and have logged about 5K miles on it since I bought it.
It is a cool and fun Guzzi, it fits me well, and I plan on riding it and enjoying it for many years! :thumb:

Looks like Kentucky. And.. I agree. As nice as it is to visit the desert southwest in the Winter, I get tired of the 20 shades of brown fairly quickly.
Today, looking at north Ogden and Ben Lomond Peak (snowline is about 7,500-8,000 feet). Bike is sitting at 4,500. 48 degrees. Winter bypassed Utah this year and went straight to the east coast. 1st time Racer has been on the road in about 7 months. Had the rear drive leak fixed at Moto Station in SLC, Ut about 3 weeks ago. Good customer service and seems to be staffed by some serious gearheads. I'll take it back in a month or so and have new rubber put on at both ends.

Well not strictly on topic, I suppose
But a short hastily, & not very well, edited piece of footage on a ride out on one of favorite pieces for road back in 2015.
Love the GoPros and quality is great apart from the sound (apologies), but they are such a PIA to set up on the bike and hit and miss on the FOV, that they are used way less than I would really like to.
Every time I take a day out I usually think about taking them, then cannot be assed

Do you have a favorite motorcycle-friendly route through PA-NY-NH?
Lannis
When we do a trip up that way, we're normally in exploration and survival mode. So take this route list as a loose guideline of our route:
Most of North America and probably Europe in the grips of an Arctic Winter blast, sub zero windchills and lots snow on the ground. We can only dream of riding! Show us your one best shot that will bring back warm thoughts of riding! Make sure you mention where the picture was taken.
Here's mine from this past July outside Ellenville, NY with the Catskill Mountains in the background.

When you look at the small diameter rotors and single pot calipers that my '77 XS750 had compared to the large diameter rotor and multi pot calipers on these brembo brakes you know it doesn't need more. More braking power would require more rubber on the road because you already can exceed the traction and cause the ABS to kick in.Yeah fair enough point.
Welcome to WG..Thank you, great forum and good to be here.

see the train trestle in the 3rd pic back in the day my friend would buy a bunch of balsa wood glider and walk out on that trestle and fly a bunch of them off the top was like a ritual every time we went camping up thereGreat times remember when I would walk out on the trestle, great way to truly understand the term Cloudcroft! Get arrested if you did that now!
thanks for the posts been years since i have been there

Summer past on the Duffy Lake road in B.C .
That's an interesting way to mount them. Mine always vibrated and were almost useless until I changed them to the Sport mirrors.I can’t swear to it, but I can ALMOST read the number plate of a following car @ 120 k’s..
