Loop Spark Plugs

The Chiltons manual calls for Marelli CW 225 or Bosch W225 T 2 plugs for my Eldorado.
Since the manual was printed in 1973 I'm thinking there might be something better today.
It's started cutting out on one cylinder so I'm going through things one at a time.
I think part of the problem may be the copious quantity of road salt this time of year, the roads are white with it.

Any recommendations for a resistor / non-resistor plug?
I'm fairly certain the leads and caps are non-resistor, I will check before I buy new plugs.
I'm still running the original coil with points, have points and capacitor on order.

My preference: solid (stranded metal) core wires, NGK LB05F (resistor) caps and NGK BP6ES plugs. I like either resistor caps or resistor plugs, but not both.

Being a southerner, I prefer BPR8ES, a slightly cooler plug.     Or, autolite 63's which come in a handy 2 pack.
