You are going to have to define "new blood".
I'm old but buying my first Guzzi, am I new blood, or do I have to have the kind of blood Kieth Richards would want a transfusion from?
🤔

my son is now 33.  when 18, I bought him a 500 Ninja to train on.  He now rides a multistrada, but he has had a ride on my v85 and was very impressed.  I am pretty sure that on our next trip, I would only have to switch with him a few times for him to be convinced.  But I just hate riding his bike. It is so twitchy and high strung, not relaxing at  all and the seat pushes you forward into the tank.
