Did they even offer those in the States? I only recall the CX500's version.
Butt Ugly IMO. Even mine (see signature) weren't too keen to look at. Sure would've loved to have made the mods on mine that I intended, though. Those things had some solid torque.

Not quite, 80 degree V-twin.. although Harley looked at them very close, wondering just how a push rod V-twin could run for hours a 11,000 RPM..

They seem to be one of those cult bikes. I like the look of the 650 Turbo. My shallow poser self needs a bike with more coolness factor though.

I had an 83 GL650I and can attest that was a great water cooled 674cc high rev motor with plenty of torque. It made a great light weight touring bike and one of the few bikes I’ve owned that I regretted selling.
Wish I had kept it.

An unmolested 650cc Turbo is highly valued, to many. Leaving the abomination of the bike I paraphrase HUSO.
