Make sure you have the solid fuel line out of the way. Leave the snorkels on or you’ll inherit air leaks.When you’re sure that the ancillary bits and pieces are out of the way, start wobbling the box into position, while squeezing the snorkels down flat.The large wiring loom that runs down the right side frame tube, can be problematic, try to EASE that out of the way a bit.Do not forget to hook up the air line that goes to the stepper motor from the bottom of the air box.I’ve had mine off many times and I find that removing the clips that secure it to the TB’s, is well worthwhile.Rubber grease is advantageous around the interior mating surface of the snorkels.Once you have the box in place, run you finger around the junction of the snorkel and TB, to make sure the throttle bodies have entered fully into the ‘box.Then replace the clips…It will work.
Did you put hose on trans breather ? It winds up on top of airbox and goes through a gap on the side. Is that the hose?
There is a 5/16” hose on mine that comes out of the top of the gearbox and just runs up to under the tank and vents to atmosphere.Always has….
was dangling loose and I knew not where to place it!
