Got to check out a Scrambler myself this week.

Beautiful bike in the flesh - with a real look of solidity and quality. The small tank makes the whole bike look and feel smaller than it really is.

The bars feel a little high at first when sitting down - but stand up on the legs and they are perfect - well for my 5'11" anyway.

Duc are on to a real winner.

Kurt

In my experience, women buy on form, fit, function... Not straight performance.

So  :+1 and then some.  Also, it's been my experience there is no talking or arguing with them over and above these preferences, attempting to get them to understand why this one and not that one is better - "Honey, it has better brakes, better suspension, better lotsa stuff."  Trot them all out, won't you.  They will all be trumped and trampled mercilessly by "But it's not cute."   ;)

I know I'll never part with my 01 M900. A basic pure motorcycle. Only problem with Ducs is the very light flywheel makes them not quite as friendly as an around town bike vs something with a heavier flywheel.

But once into 2nd gear it's hard to beat that sound and acceleration. Mine still has the dry clutch so sound is much more pronounced.

My wife liked the feel of my Duc but it was still just a little too much for her. She absolutely loves her Honda Hawk GT though. It's like a 7/8's Duc and fits her perfectly, almost too small for me. But just as competent going down the road as the Duc.
