Floorboards for an 850-T... Swap or buy outright.
« on: December 09, 2015, 07:38:02 PM »
Were 850-T's ever equipped with floor boards...?

Well I talked with Frank about his shifting issue with the 850-T with pegs and he thought that floor boards would be a great idea instead of trying to fit a heel and toe shifter.

I just do not recall seeing the T with boards, I know there was a T-3 FB but the rear drum brake and lever for the T are an issue me thinks.

Any input is appreciated.  If it comes out that there is such an assembly, Frank would like to swap his peg set up for a FB set up or buy outright.

Thanks much,
Rob

The T3 FB floor boards would bolt right up and the shifting side should work but, you'd have to adapt the brake pedal to link with the rear brake cross bar. I have floor board lowers and pedals, if you want to try them, just cover shipping. If they work, I'd take your parts in trade or you can ship the FB stuff back.
