I heard the lawnmower heave a sigh of relief from here.

I guess I have kept the Breva now for twelve years because it fits like a glove. :thumb: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Nobody remotely cares about this nor should you but I just decided to keep this amazing machine.  Too damn gorgeous and fantastic to cheapen further just to sell or trade.  If my main issue with the bike is that my bad back won't tour on it then instead of getting rid of this one or trying to twist it into a touring bike, then I think all it needs is a touring partner in the garage.   :boozing: :thumb:  I am, however, gonna try and run the Beetle map on it and add a fly screen, possibly the Dart Marlin.

Have you tried a set of Onur's risers? I'm running the 15mm ones on my bike and it has revolutionised my comfort levels. Oddly enough it's not just my back and neck but my wrists as well that are all pain and fatigue free, even after 800km days. I'm stil using the 'Big' Guzzi screen but also have a Givi waiting in the wings if I do feel I need more coverage. Other mod is lowered pegs, only by about an inch though. With these mods and set up the wai I like it my Griso is just about perfect for touring.

Hey Pete, I have tried pivoting Rox risers on it, pulling the side panel to free some cables, and also have tried both 2" and 1" MFW position adjustable Vario pegs.  As you mention, all of these greatly improved comfort.  In fact, I don't think it has much to do with the bike and is more specific to my physical condition of about 3 slipped discs.  But as I said, I'm mostly fine on it for jaunts of about 40-60 miles.  I will just take a break and maybe do a few of my physical therapy prescribed back stretches to help.  So, if you see some guy on the side of the road doing what looks like yoga, do waive  :thumb:
