small block oil feed hose
« on: August 13, 2016, 12:33:00 PM »
I can't find it in the Breva 750 or Nevada 750 parts manuals. The oil hose that screws into the back of the sump. Can somebody give me a part number or point me to the page in the part manual?

I've searched for oil, line, hose, galley, pipe, and looked at all the pictures. It's like they forgot it.

The equivalent hose on the 1TB V7's is B063213.  It's shown in the parts manual on the page for the airbox.  On the Cafe Classic 750, the part is number GU32159310.  Guzzibits shows them as being identical.  Dimensions: 7mm ID x 12mm OD x 200mm, and states "Fits Moto Guzzi Breva 750, Nevada 750 (2004-), V7 Cafe, V7 Classic, V7 Stone, V7 Racer".
There's also a fiber washer, GU90714082, which is the same for both models.

Thank you very much, that's the one. Just a breather, huh.

Not a breather, it's the condensate return to the sump from the separator.

So, all of your blow-by oil then accumulates in the airbox and then gets burned in the engine instead of being condensed and returned to the crankcase?  How much oil does your bike consume?  Mine consumes none at all between oil changes.

Valve cover outlets are connected to 8mm fuel hoses routed to rear near number plate

Air box has all pipes blanked off. Just air inlet and outlets to the carbs

Did 650 miles last week  inc some off road, all 2 up with top box and panniers, not used a drop since I changed 1500 miles ago and still lovely cherry red.

Breathers spit Mayo out even after 650 miles in 5 days.   Don't want that in my sump

To be fair my Guzzi is unique...
