The LED bulb I used is the key - the ADVMonster Native H4R2. http://stores.advmonster.com/native-h4r2/Results with other bulbs were not nearly as good.
Without knowing what bulbs it uses, I can't really recommend anything. It's not a normal 7" round headlight. "Just sticking an H4 replacement LED into an OEM reflector" worked out very well the two times I've done it. Well, the first time wasn't exactly an OEM reflector, but was an aftermarket Hella H4 reflector. The second was the V7 Stone. Both have/had nice wide beams of light with no dark spots, easily the equal to the JW Speaker LED sealed unit in my Convert. Thanks for the info!
I am considering replacing the halogen bulbs in my Monster's headlight with LEDs. Went over to Ducati.ms and posted the question but got no response. That place doesn't seem to have the level of traffic that we enjoy here. Any recommendations/cautions? There isn't a lot of space in the headlight shell behind the bulbs. Some of the emitters I looked at on the innanet have long extensions on the backs of them and they don't look like they would fit in the shell.TIALarry
