Comparing ECU maps 2019/2021 V7 lll Stone 750
« on: April 25, 2023, 03:51:12 AM »
Hi to all , I have two V7 lll Stone 750 ( 2019 night pack and 2021 basic) and since I bought the 2021 I have noticed that don't perform same ( worst) also makes so pinging or wrist pin sound like with only 3800km. Already adjust the valves and performs a little better but not , the same as the 2019. Also don't pass 170 km/h , and I think it can do a little more.

d picture

So finally received my ECU cable and read both ECU - The 2019 have a map dated 2019-6-19 and the 2021 a map dated 2017-10-12. So the newer have a older map inside.

So I'm going to put the 2019 map into the 2021 and test.

Can someone share a newer map .bin file or this is the latest for my bikes?

Or any other suggestions?

Thx

Same software (464AVFAL) => same map.

Pinging is current on this motor and may be due to a very slight difference in compression (and even exhaust valve, timing, and lambda sensors...).

So the maps are the same , even with different dates? So how to explain same engines, same maps , and different performance? Should I consider that my newest with only 3800km is in the break in period?

I believe the 19 is a E4 bike but the 21 is an E5. Totally different specs. I think upmap is the only choice on the 21. Also isn't the 21 an 850?

The date you see in the map, is the date the map was put on the ecu.
