Possibly but, in English slang Bender is also a a derogatory term for homosexual.
No prejudices here but I think that might limit the appeal somewhat.

Long ago I heard "Esso" meant poop, shi#t, etc. in Japanese, and that's why they changed their name to "Exxon". I suppose companies are better at doing research into what a proposed name means in foreign languages before deciding on one now. Personally, those names (Benda, Chinchilla, Napoleon Bob) wouldn't be an issue for me if the bike is compelling enough. I love the thought of a 250cc v-twin.
