Bummer. Hits home at the same age. One of my favorite cult movies for many reasons. For those of you who may be fans of the movie, the motorcycle scenes were all filmed on the old causeway to the Dumbarton Bridge, Fremont, CA in the south of San Francisco Bay. A new bridge and highway have been constructed but the old road was preserved for access to bay fishing and salt ponds. Come visit and I can take you to the exact location where Maude steals the Guzzi (spoiler). I've had numerous Guzzi world travelers at that spot. This was old Bruce Baillie of British Columbia if you remember him.
