Does anyone know if there is a cheaper ring than the GT one available for the CARC bikes?

There was another source mentioned on this site, I recall.

But the GuzziTech one works a treat, and is well made.  Why not support those who provide items unavailable from any other source?  Price seems reasonable to me.

Check Moto Machine.  They carry HB tank locks and bags.

eBay member onurkuraner was selling them. He doesn't have anything currently on eBay but I sent him a message to see if he is still making the mounts.

The fellow from Turkey is the main source other than GuzziTech if you want to use Givi bags. If you want to use SW-Motech, that company makes a ring adapter of their own, available from Twisted Throttle and other sources. Each ring is (of course) specific to that company's tank bag designs.

Onur is still making them, it's just that Turkey has been cut loose from paypal, not sure if that is their government or some kind of banking moratorium. Anyway, you can still get them, (I mean to order one for the Turdio but keep forgetting!) but have to pay through some arcane Western Union money transfer thingy. They are great though, lots of the Ghetto mob have them, including myself and they are wonderfully convenient.

Pete.

I have one of his Tanklock mounts on my Breva 1100. I liked the system so well that I put Tanklock mounts on my Shiver and on my son's SV650.

Onur sent me a reply to my message on eBay. He is still making and selling his custom Givi style Tanklock mounting rings. He gave me permission to share his contact info. His email address is okuraner@gmail.com

The current prices are US$67 or €65 or £55 (shipping included).

I have an extra one that came with my Breva that might work. It's yours if you cover shipping.
