tonti clutch question
« on: October 15, 2015, 08:47:46 PM »
clutch question..

does there need to be a gap between outer body of the clutch rod (eg. GU14086100) and the adjuster screw on the clutch arm or can they be in constant contact?

on my bike the outer body is protuding due, i imagine, to worn clutch plates, and the arm is hitting the frame..

thanks as ever

Possibly you have a throwout bearing coming apart. Easy enough to take apart for a look.

Clutch arm needs free play, yours will slip wildly like this
adjust screw out till you have some, if impossible, plates are toast (from having none)
