Let's not forget that Steppenwolf (mentioned in the initial post), is a Canadian/American band initially formed in Toronto. So much great American music, though!Cheers,Shaun
SHHHH! See post above concerning our secret invasion plans!
Little Feat. 'Nuf said.
Like I said elsewhere - it's all part of our secret Canadian plan to invade the US, using actors, comedians and musicians. Our advance man was Lorne Greene, and then we sent Shatner and Chief Dan George, then the musicians led by Gordon Lightfoot, and finally we took over comedy with Second City (Chicago still doesn't realize we snuck it out from under them), the Ghostbusters, and all the rest. You fought back with Pauly Shore and PeeWee Herman, but that was a feeble and doomed effort! We'll gradually take over your society and leave you with nothing but universal healthcare, a better sense of humor, and good manners...
well southern rock was my thing. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Black Oak Arkansas. Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
Little Village.
The Eagles are without a doubt the best American band ever. :1:
Well this will start an argument . Personally I never really understood their appeal , Poco was better Dusty
I was startin' to believe you until you said "good manners"
I rembember dan baird when he was in the georgia satilites. I once had all the kiss albums...lol but not my thing now. id listen to anything. still will. but the b52s? dont like them like bob segar. heart in the early days. but im listing to new stuff. like black berry smoke. hey its new to me...
Once we complete our conquest, Bieber and Celine will be exiled to a small island in the Gulf of Mexico. We'll just tell them it's a residency booking at a casino!
Just as long as that "island in the gulf of Mexico" isn't Alaska.
No, the one I was thinking of is an artificial island - I think it's called 'Deepwater Horizon'!
Metallica.I have also secretly promoted a secret Canadian agenda, in music at least. IMHO, one of the best bands of all time, the Tragically Hip. A early love of hockey, Neil Young, Rush and hearing the Hip back in '89ish damn near turned me Canadian!
