decode my vin please!

Its a 2000. I thought it was a jackal cause ive got 4 sidecovers that say jackal...heres the VIN number ZGUKDBOYM151429

 I've been trying to tell ya it is a 2000 Jackal , they only built them in 2,000 and '01 . The right side brake is a dead giveaway .

It only has one clock and one front disk so it's not an EV

Looks like it will scrub up nice though.

Would Dusty put you crook?

I was thinking it was a 2002 Dusty. I got out the title. then took a look. sorry about the confusion. busy working and drinking beer, but not at the same time lol

You're missing two digits.  Should be 17 there.

ZGUKDBOYM151429

Z - Italy.
GU - Moto Guzzi.
KDBKD KD is the engine code for a 1100cc California engine.  This sequence was used on all the Californias of that time.
0 - the ninth digit is number, not a letter.  It's a mathematical check digit used to confirm the VIN.
Y is year model 2000.
M is for Mandello Del Lario.
151429 is the production sequence.

OK.  I updated my above post.

You have a 2000 model Guzzi California.  There is no way to determine more detail from the VIN.  You have to look at the bike.

Tube-type wheels, single disk brake with 40mm caliper mounting holes, speedo-only gauge, 2-piece seat, solid paint scheme all make it a Jackal.
