That is a nice one.  And he is straightforward about what is incorrect.

This bike and and others were linked & discussed here a few weeks ago- https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=100457.0 WG member Swedemoto bought his Pantah and spoke well of the seller.  From the pics, he looks like an advanced collector.

Seller added note about his MHR being for sale as well- very cool.

Too nice to ride on the road? Or almost too nice, tough decision if I were lucky enough to own it.

Not to brag but I would consider my V7 Sport to be quite a bit nicer than this one and I have no qualms riding it.  That's part of the fun of owning.  As nice as it is to admire standing still It's always more fun to ride it.  My kids will be have the task of selling it.  A few thousand miles plus or minus won't be my concern. 😀

So true! And a healthy viewpoint as well. If you can't confront wasting it (not even a little) then it'll never be yours. You may own it, but the spiritual attachment will never be there, just a possession.

I think I maybe could be at that level with the V7S, but not with the guzzi V8 race bike. I think about that guy who stuffed it at the IOM - wonder if it's restored now?

He didn't mention the Eldorado speedometer or the fact that the tach and speedo have switched sides.

My V7 Sport was picked up today by a transport company taking it to its next caretaker in Vancouver. I put on just under 800 miles after its restoration and I hope the new owner will ride it often and hard. So what if it gets a few nicks or scrapes, it's been restored once and it can be, if necessary restored again.

I have a spiritual connection to riding, not a particular motorcycle.  I like to experience different makes, models, and genres of motorcycles.   Sure wish I was a rich as Jay Leno so I could keep each and every one so I can relive the riding experience it brought me.

It was hard to decide which bike to sell but I have ten other Italian thoroughbreds in my shop and care and feeding dictates some have to find new loving homes. Believe me parting with a V7 Sport, LeMans MKI, 750S3 and a 1000S has not been without some regret. But I can’t sit idle and without new projects in the pipeline I would probably have to take up golf or some other meaningless pass time!
