Gratuitous pictures of my 750s

Just because I was out for a ride yesterday relishing the smooth power, the easy way it eats the miles, and even if it folds my 6'2" like a pretzel, it's surprisingly comfortable. Great bike, that doesn't feel 45 years old.

Pictures can be deceptive.  You can't see the rusty chrome on the rear side and flanges of the silencer, the place where the seat pan is rubbing the paint off the frame rails, or the pitted chrome on the headlight surround, but it's a rider, not a show bike.

I'd swap the mighty GRiSO for that

I've always fancied a Griso  . Perhaps I'll get one when they're respectably old.  Of course, I'll be pushing 100 by then

Nice eggsample! Unusual to see the small tail light on an S. The Lafranconis work well, I have them on my Sport, here it is, hard at work a few years ago now. Sadly, I cant get her to get on it any more.

Ugly ineffective ones    They were on the bike when I got it and I haven't changed them yet.

I took the original Lucas ones off my Sport because the chromed plastic bodies would not stay tight on the stems & kept looking down at the ground.
Are modern repo ones any better? Are the Italian made ones any better?

Lovely 750S.  I have the sharks fin silencers and considering to buy a pair of Lafranconis.  Here's my old V7 Sport.

The new Lucas plastic body lights will stay tight if you add a thin jamb nut to the inside of light. The cast aluminum Aprilia signal lights used on the 750S and the European V7 Sport have a lock nut on the stem plus they are very well made with sprung lamp holders.

Thanks Canuck. I will try  looking for some Aprilia lights. I guess loctite should work in the plastic body Lucas ones.
