Rider killed by Death
« on: June 20, 2019, 07:07:29 PM »
Perhaps I'm being a bit of an asshole here cuz I'm tired of seeing the grass thread up at the top. I confess I haven't read it. Here's to Lemmy!

 God rest his soul.

You should read the grass thread before criticizing it , always works better that way . Seriously .

I read it, or a portion of it before I nearly expired from boredom. Idiots find ways to die. It needn’t concern the rest of us.

I heard he was killed to death because someone left a banana peel on the road.

Dusty is right of course. I was just feeling a bit scrappy last night after a couple beers. But just to stir the philosophical waters a bit, I have always felt motorcycles have a bit of death in their DNA. I reckon that's part of the mystery of their appeal.

^^^Probably true , any peak activity , skydiving , rock climbing , motorcycle riding , all involve some risk and a willingness to stare death in the face and laugh .

Any Lemmy reference deserves a thumbs up - especially for a more obscure tune like this!

Lemmy died Late Dec 2015.  Motörhead's "Killed by Death" video gets my vote for best use of an iron sportster in a music video.   Posting a link to such things probably doesn't fit the wg guidelines.

We always thought her father might have been the inspiration for Mr Anderson in Beavis & Butthead. Sure is easy to see a resemblance...

Saw the thread title, came for the Lemmy reference.  Not disappointed.
