Gearing up my daughter.. kids/womens bike gear??
« on: July 13, 2019, 04:18:28 PM »
I thought there was a post on this a while back.. But I will be darned if I can find it...  So here we are...  My youngest daughter loves riding with me. I need to get her some gear. Mostly pants and gloves at this time. She hates jeans....  so I got to get her something. She normally where just sports pants, or shorts.. So Im thinking motocross pants, or ADV pants. They seem to be baggy, and slip over a pair of shorts. Is that a good choice for the road? What about gloves??  Are MX gloves a good choice for a passenger?  She is 5'2" tall, and about 120lbs..  so small woman size, but still growing. There is so little women's gear, and being she is still growing, value is a issue along with safety. being able to use youth MX gear might be a good way to get going cheaply..

S1120, you're on the right track.

Yeah Motocross stuff is a great starting point for kids and young women.

Also check www.newenough.com (now www.motorcyclegear. com), and Cycle Gear (if you have one locally).
