« on: July 23, 2019, 07:14:31 AM »
Hi, gone through all 320 pages of the service manual on thisoldtractor and can’t find -

Torque for 4 main 15mm cylinder head nuts
Torque for the 12mm nut that bolts down the rocker assembly and the head..
Torque for the 7mm bolts that hold the retainers on the rocker shafts

Help please...

Why have you had the heads off? If you haven't leave them alone. They are steel laminate gaskets that do not require re-tourquing.

I never did re-torque the heads on my 1985 850 T5.  It only has about 4500 miles on it, I regret to say.  I obviously will try to retorque them now.  Can it erode the sealing surfaces if not properly re-torqued at the first service?  Of course this is a big-bock Guzzi.
