Luck of the Guzzi
« on: August 13, 2019, 08:06:18 PM »
I dropped off some Bassa and other parts for Matt F (the NM Guzzi rep--rally this weekend). We settled on a price that was fair, but considerably less than I would have gotten if I'd sold them on Ebay or here. I just didn't feel like listing everything, packing, shipping, & etc., so I was ok with the deal.

I stopped by a casino on the way home. I won enough that I ended up with twice or more what the parts are worth.

I wouldn't have gone by the casino if I hadn't dropped off the parts. I'm thinking that the Guzzi spirits may have intervened.

As an old Sales Manager boss often told me...."I'd rather be lucky than good anytime!"
