Here we go.  Come on over/up/down to my place for the first annual Southeastern Moto Guzzi enthusiasts Burger/Brat weekend campout.  October 11th-13th!  Out in the country between Cleveland Tennessee and Dalton Georgia!  Exact location provided when you RSVP!

Friday night we will have pizza and some sides for the people that show up on Friday, and a fire in the firepit with stories being told I am sure!  Saturday we will have pastries and coffee for breakfast, Burgers/Brats for lunch and then MAYBE a short ride to the Ocoee Damn Deli for dinner Saturday night (That's pending any rider interest).

We have the room to camp, a firepit and a extra bedroom in the house for first person that tells me they need it because they hate camping! LOL  Also a couple of carports are located in the way back field if you need to park your bike out of the elements for whatever reason, and some limited garage space (room for three -five bikes about).

More details I cant think of right now, but come on.  Help make the first annual fall southeastern Moto Guzzi enthusiasts burger and brat campout a success!   Hope you can make it.  SEVERE BAD WEATHER may cause cancelation but lets hope for decent weather!  Please RSVP here or message me ASAP if you are coming.  I need a firm count of attendees no later than Friday October 4th if you are coming.  Hopefully you commit, as my goal is to have 10 riders/campers!  Come on help me make my goal!!!!!

Why so "hush-hush" about WHERE?  I might be interested if I knew where this was going to be so I could tell if it will work into my travel plans...

Hi   New to the forum but not motorcycles or rallies. Have mostly ridden Eruo bikes and had several older MGs. That weekend looks clear and the distance is only about 7-8 hrs ride time. Will be fresh off the 6K service and a new front tire, good way to break them in. I'm a solid tentative as I do have my own company and stuff happens. All in all sounds good if you get a group together. Camping is fine for me as long as you have a couple of trees for a hammock tent.
Thanks

Il put you down as a tentative.  I suppose trees have to be like 8 feet apart or so.  Lots of my trees are further apart then that, but with 7 acres I forget.  Il take a look.....Hope you can make it.

Yes I have trees that are closer together.  Some along the creek, some in the field.  You can pick which ones you want to use and il trim/cut lower branches off for your hammock, because they have low hanging branches that I need to cut back anyways.

Sounds perfect. A bit further apart is better but it all sounds great. I can even help with trimming if we have the inclination.

If you come and are coming from St. Augustine you probably are riding the furthest!   :bike-037:   :thumb:

Sounds like the kind of thing I like to do ... at 411 miles, won't be able to make it this time, though ... When Guzzi rallies are few and far between, creating one yourself is a great idea!

Hadn't heard THAT in a while.   That intro with the guitar slide is the greatest rock song opening ever .... loved it when it was current in 1970, love it now ....

I"ll RSVP for lunch!  Not too far from my place in Dunlap.  Just ride down and back?  Supposed to have a little cooler temps by then, as well.

Glad to see that you're getting some turnout, this time around! The setting looks gorgeous. Were I closer, I'd definitely be there. Good luck, and keep it up!
