Didn't go to Mandello, was supposed to fly in a Zeppelin.

Even though Mandello is just over the Alps from me, I didn't go to the party last weekend. I had two things scheduled.  One was work and the other was a Zeppelin flight over Lake Constance.
I got a friend to cover my work for me but the weather turned bad and we rescheduled the Zeppelin flight for this weekend. I feel sorry for anyone who had to ride in Europe on Sunday!! Cold and wet!

However, this weekend in my hometown is an antique airplane fly-in. Can't do everything!!

I think it’s the nicest and most relaxed area of Germany, and not a bad comparison with other parts of Austria and Switzerland either.

Very beautiful!! Can be rather expensive during summer.  Lots to see and do!!

 I bicycled from Munchen down along the Bodensee to France, back in 63.  I agree it is the friendliest area of Germany.  Its also very scenic.
  You look UP at Switzerland across the lake.
