I want to install a LED plug and play headlight bulf and from what I understand I will also need a decoder to keep the light from flickering. Anybody have an idea as what decoder I should get?

I have never heard of such a thing, I run an LED in my Griso,
Nice thing about LED headlights, they only need about 9 Volts, the built in Voltage regulator sheds anything over that so they run full brightness through the wimpy wires Guzzi provided, no need for headlight relays.

I replaced my headlight bulb with a ADV Monster H4R2. A little relieving with a Dremel of the socket in the headlight shell was all I did. Super bright and no flickering. Never heard of a LED decoder...

Maybe some cars have a built in failure detection, that can tell when the bulb has burned out.
There may be a box to work around that for those cars. Probably just a big resistor. And it wouldn't have anything to do with a light flickering.
Maybe.
