Now I need someone who has done this flash. I don’t know the first thing about it. I would be happy to pay and or provide adult beverages! Anyone who lives in the central US, PM me, I can travel!

If you can post here you can do this, I’m not a computer guy, the program is easy, and Beatle will walk you thru it if needed, and many here have done it and can and will help.

Well..the story goes on. I found out through a little research from the provided invoices from the previous owner that the ECU-ECM? was changed to one from Italy and a "booster system" from Germany was installed. No other documenotation provided. I called the shop where work was done (Favre Motorcycles & Lui) out of Jacksonville, FL. & talked to a gentleman there, he said he remenbered the bike but had no documentation either, that it was a long time ago. It was three years ago. Long story short, I'm not sure what I have or who to have look at it to tell me. The good news is, the bike runs great but I sure wish I knew what I have for the future, also it would be nice to know what I have so I could have the map tuned or tweaked. Any input or advice on where to turn would be appreciated.

Kevin

ECU's usually have their model designation written on the outside, and often their part number. The so called "booster" systems are often connected up to the lambda sensor wiring at the first connector. Often a box with 6 inch wires at each end. On the V7C that first connector is found behind the starter motor; don't know about your Calvin.

Kev, there’s a lot of guys here that can answer about any questions you may have. IMHO if the bike runs good, gets good fuel mileage and you are satisfied with it, I would not worry to much about any issues that at this time are not really issues, just enjoy her. I really loved the performance of my CalVin but just could not get comfortable with the seating position regardless of seats or bars. The leg position was just to high for my form and no reasonable way to lower the boards. Have fun with it, fine machine!!!

Take off sidecovers and take a pic, also under the seat. The fuel box is mounted somewhere.

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the seat, anyone have some advice? I tried the key lock by the sidecover but that didn't seem to work. I'm open to suggestions.

when you turn the key pull up on the back of the seat, it’s a plug in a hole and will pop out.

Don't you have to pull on the little tab behind the key lock?
