New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I borrowed the idea from a you tube video.I used antifreeze for the color. I had to buy two Corona beers for the bottles. I tried to drink it but it was vile to me.Cost me $4.I used Barge brand rubber cement to seal the rubber plugs. thanks
That is a beautiful time capsule Yeahoo! I would not touch a thing myself! Beautifully matched Jammer and hardbags. Rick.
There is a very clean and nicely reinforced Convert flywheel on Guzzi Facebook at the moment, for 75 bucks shipping included. I have no interest in the sale, just passing the info along https://www.facebook.com/groups/898627433562137/JD
Thanks, Gearman. I am going to build one, its better than the setup I currently have using only tubing with ATF inside. I think I will pour the Corona contents into the sink as well. It is vile stuff. We call it "skunk beer"! LOL.below is a link to the you tube video in case anyone is interested.Rickhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D_f05_a74Y
I JUST BORROWED A FRIENDS cARBTUNE manometer and am going to compare it with the beer one. The Carbtune one says I should set it to within 2 cm hg mercury. It has 1cm. divisions.Mine has none.LOL
Congrats...You'll love it....so much fun around town and in traffic as well as on the long road...iron bore is rock solid....sorry but it gives me the opportunity to show off Mr. Slate.
76 V1000 Convert barn find status.
How much of a "barn find" was this bike? Looks waaaaay better than something neglected in a barn (I keep thinking of something with chicken poop on it and mice nests in the airbox).I keep hoping one day I stumble across one so wonderfully "neglected". Can't wait for your first ride report! That seat alone with all that room to move will make you fall in love with it.
Sweet! My 84 cali II Auto, I love it, so much fun, smooth ride!
JayDee,So is that how the early flywheels are typically reinforced...? I am an admitted novice to the Convert world so I need to reply on good advice. The seller is Aldo, all around good guy. I may have to give him a call. Thanks,Rob
