Sure, I can see doing the whole trip and going from stop to stop.  Should include good dining and drinks and comfy overnight compartment.

Union Station Kansas City Monday Morning:

A cooled down BIG BOY 4014 was parked and a crowd of people were gathered and traffic was backed up a block.

Lots of Steam Locomotive fans there. This guy was even steam powered!

Just returned from seeing Big Boy running east of Salina. Didn't have much time to take pictures as it was running I would guess at about 40 mph, thought it would be slower. What a hunk of machine!
