EICMA 2019
« on: November 16, 2019, 07:50:00 AM »

Don't mind this Rossopuro V85 Variant (strangely named "Orrizonte") from the specialist custom builder Fillippo Barbacane.
Some highlights:  High upswept pipes exiting left to compact Massmoto can w/o Cat. (Bet it's loud!)
Matching alloy Tool Case on RHS
New tank, instrument binnacle & light (a 'la NTX 750)
                          Modified Frame
                          Close-fitting custom alloy bashplate
                          Bitubo Suspension
                          Nicely fitted (alloy??) sidecovers.
                          Solo seat.

Quite like it myself.  Not perfect (no subframe triangulation for load lugging for instance), but I've always liked custom alloy petrol tanks & bodywork, despite their relative fragility in comparison to the alternative Acerbis robustness.  There aren't many custom allroaders out there, & even fewer Guzzi ones.  That Red/Silver colourway actually works for me...

Just wish they'd done an "interesting" aesthetic alternative to that damned ugly duckbill.

Come on MG, was it that hard. This is all we have to bounce around for a year.I was and everyone else expecting to see a street V85. You know you have something to leak out.

There very well may be a Cat somewhere in the innards of the exhaust plumbing.  It just doesn't look like there is.  It's a custom job anyway, not an officially sanctioned OEM Piaggio production model.
