UPDATE! Meet and Greet lunch confirmed for 9 Feb (Sunday) at 12:00 noon at Tellico Kats in Tellico Plains Tn. Snowing pretty hard here today so I will be taking the cage to tomorrows lunch. Hope to see you for lunch Sunday. Ride (or drive) safe. Bob

If the weather's good, I'll plan to come up with my son. Been looking for a good time and reason to get up to Tellico, he lives about 3 hours south near Martin GA.

Might even do a Dragon Run while in the neighborhood ? If the weather is good enough to cross-over the SkyWay ?

Just bumping up. Watching weather and leaning toward Sunday the 9th at noon, depending on weather. Will make the final call as to whether Sat or Sunday, on Thursday. Hope to see some of you for lunch! Ride safe.

Forecast for next weekend not looking so good. The front will push through, dropping temps from the above normal we've been having to normal or below. Sunday forecast 50 for a high, but of course it won't hit that till well in the afternoon. Looks like too cold for me. I'm a wimp. It's one thing to ride across town in the low 40's, another thing entirely to ride 100+ miles each way!

Do you know the story on Tellico Kats? They were supposed to close last year. Did they sell it to new owners or did the original ladies decide to stay open?

I appreciate how tough it is trying to schedule anything but a very local get-together this time of year. I'm glad you're giving it a go, even though I'll be unlikely to find a 3-day window in the weather in which to make it until spring or summer.

Most of us are just gazing at the fire waiting for the weather to break ... !
