A subjective view, but I don’t think the 8V is as attractive..( love IS blind..)On paper the 8V is a better bike, but I don’t ride on paper... I’ll bump an old thread...
You can lose your license for exceeding the speed limit by 20KPH??? That's only 12.4mph, that's crazy!
I still found that model of Norge in the faster color, an extremely sexy looking bike. fwiw jmho Kelly
I do think there was upgrades to the suspension and drivers position in relation to grip height/reach.
For our general benefit..Could we stick to 2V 8V terminology ?It all gets messy.
I've owned two 2V Norges over the past 10 years; have put 80K miles on them. The first was a 2009; totaled on a deer. The second, a 2007, is still my main rider. I'm considering the purchase of a 2014 Norge, and had some questions for the wise folks on this forum:In what ways is the 2nd gen bike superior to its earlier version? Are there ways in which the 2V Norge is actually preferable to the 4V bike?Though I have loved my Norges, they have had some issues. Will I likely have to deal with these same problems with the 4V Norge? startus interruptus side stand and center stand vibrated loose warped front brake rotor broken cat in muffler blocked exhaust flow (2009) had to lube swingarm pivots (2009), have yet to do it to the 2007Are these parts interchangeable? seat throttlemeisterThanks for the information,Jon
