Good call Pete.  That area is very similar.  This was actually taken on the Western branch (rt 12/28) after it split off rt8.  This happens to be near Lyons Falls in New York.  And yup the cops don't even patrol that road...it's too bumpy/irregular to speed.

Be well,
DougG

My KLR would eat those roads up and the mirrors wouldn't even vibrate. Hope the V85 does as well.

Notice where the sign points, then notice where the road goes.

Actually that is pretty much true. Years ago in Modoc county a gal hit a black angus bull at night, totalled her car and killed the bull. She said she didn't know anything was there until the big crash. It is open range where it happened, she was sued for many thousands of dollars for the loss of the bull. I know my former father in law paid upwards of $10,000 for a good bull.

I didn't know I had a neighbor here on this site. I have been planning to go get a picture of it once some of this snow went away.

Bixby Bridge.  Big Sur Highway, CA-1, about 14 miles south of Carmel, California and north of Big Sur.  Crosses the Bixby Creek.

Somewhere on the Pacific Coast Highway, southbound.  I know there are bridges like that between Carmel and Big Sur.  Chuck will probably chime in with the exact bridge.

Geoff from Almonte had told me about the Snye Rd up in the White Lake area, I might be hazy on the details, but something like 100 curves in 10 kms?

This picture is at the start of it, Geoff was right, it was a 2nd & 3rd gear only rollercoaster ride.

Hi Kelly

Another favorite of mine is the Letterkenny Rd that runs between Quadville and Brudenell.  Recently resurfaced and loads of fun.

I was just thinking I need to spin up to the BRP and get a pic of the 'flailing motorcyclist' and 'decreasing radius curve'  signs up there...  looks like you got them both in one shot Chuck!
