Yeah I get confused with George Clooney all the time....
Hey..!
Speaking of GC....
This is fair dinkum no bullshit.
When I was last in Como I spied a nice car and grabbed this shot. A disheveled guy who looked like the Swordfish boat Captain from “Perfect Storm” waited for me, I playfully bowed in deference to the car and he looked a bit abashed and left...
An old Sheila came up and said  “I was lucky to get a photo”
I replied that I thought Ferrari’s would be reasonably common.
She said..
“No...Is the George Clooney...”
Wellll alllrighhtyyy then...

This is a great thread with lots of great photos.  But I’m envious.  I have no photographs of me by an unexploded bomb.  What’s the story there Les?

The story is it didn’t explode while he was near it, although his hair looks suspiciously in disarray...

A little distant Phil but I enlarged as much as possible and could make out the topical gray beard most of us has accumulated. It must be a guzzi rider thing👍

Not into photos much, but I found a few from some open mics I've done. This was from Feb 2019.

This guitar is very special to me.

It was made by a friend of mine, Mr William Davidson, in honor of my father "Cliff" White (engraved in M of P on the fret board), using Black Cherry wood, that my Dad had harvested after the Ice Storm of '98, and our family crest is on the head stock.

For the guitarists among us, it's a 12 fret, with a flat Ebony finger board, high quality Canadian BC Engelmann Spruce top, and surprisingly, the most delicious mellow brown tone  :thumb:

That’s a sweet Gutiar Kelly. I’m a picker myself. I have a handmade classical and play Willie Nelson style picking. I’d love to get up with you sometime and pick around a campfire.

About the 13th post down gives more detail....

The P.N.G Army would periodically detonate unexploded  WWII ordnance, there were a few craters around that one.

Was that topical or typical?  Either way beards seem to be common here, although I've had mine since the early 60s before it was gray and I heard a lot of Smith Brothers Jokes (for those who remember that product).  I don't do a lot of photos of myself, but there was a convenient flat topped electrical post at that camping spot to set the camera on.  Here is a cropped version, but I think the cali is still the most photogenic

But this is how we may all look for the foreseeable future. ( Not because of the virus in this case for me but for the beginning of oak pollen season.)
