Bags for the 'vert
« on: May 24, 2020, 11:40:35 AM »
I was looking around on the 'net and found that Fox Creek leather had some (Sportster) saddlebags on sale:

https://www.foxcreekleather.com/luggage/saddlebags-accessories/

Normally, I use Givi bags because they're practical, but the leather ones looked good and the sale price was good, almost 40% off. I had to make some brackets.

I'm happy with the end result. The bags have zipper closures for the main storage areas plus some smaller zip pockets. I will mainly use the bags for small stuff, maybe a hat, some sunglasses or a jacket, or a few things at the store, nothing more than an overnighter.

You might notice if you look closely at the bottom pic, that I lopped off the heel part of the shifter and had it rechromed. Easier to move my foot around that way and I never used it.

From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.
