New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
They had HD plus BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha, and Bimota. Very interesting place, no idea if they are still there or what they might be selling now, obviously no Bimota any more.
I think one of HDs problems is the glut of used ones on the market.
Trying to tempt myself with something to buy I came across the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Did a quick search for the "local" dealership and Battlefield Harley Davidson in Gettysburg PA is now selling Royal Enfield, Vespa's and Vanderhall. Honestly they may have been selling them for years as this is not dealership I frequent. Who'd of thought seeing and Indian motorcycle and Italian scooter sitting on the same showroom floor as the American iron?
You think thats bad, spare a thought for the poor, bad ass, tattooed up "Bikie" on his open piped Harley tearing up the neighbourhood. Half the accountants, lawyers and the local plumber are now riding around on a Harley sporting a Bandanna,Tatts, and Staggered Cutoff Shorty Duals. Ciao
Local plumber here rides a BMW PerazziMx14,Local 520 Plumbers & Pipfitters 7/27/97 - Present
I was just out at Battlefield HD picking up a "touring" seat for my Royal Enfield Himalayan. There were a few 650 RE's on the floor, tucked into the corner by the parts counter. (they had sold the Himalayans they had in stock)I had to look up the part number for the seat because the counter guy didn't know how to do it. Loving the Himalayan. 410cc long-stroke single with a counterbalancer. It will run at 70 all day long on the highway if needed but WOW is it a hoot on the fire roads and single track. I traveled down to WVa and road around GW national forest. If Battlefield is smart they will market the RE's and sell a lot of them. Great little bike, looks vintage and runs like a top. If I had the cash I would get a 650 INT just to zip around on.
Tatts, bandanna and open pipes? Ciao
