Did you ride around the access road to check out the windmills or go into the barn to look at the photos of them under construction?

The Rally was at the Barn. Amazing venue with fascinating story, Private home owners lived off the grid for years. Owner leased the tower land and now maintains the roads, nice job if you can get it.
 What a view.

Looks to have been an excellent time, with some me sweet bikes! Looking at the list, however, I'm very sorry I couldn't fill the enormous void I saw by adding the exquisite Milano!😁

Here's hoping for another one next year!

Eldorado you say...

FANTASTIC day!  Coulda stayed there all weekend.  Great job Randy and Natalie.  The few of us that hung out a little later got a tour of the TOP of the mountain by the owner Kevin who was gracious enough to loan us his property for the day.  Views were spectacular.  There was a windmill blade on the ground that you could walk around and on.  100 feet long, and clocks 110mph at the tips while spinning.  The windmill mounts are 40 Ft underground!

Here I am standing inside the base of the blade, and some other pics...

Glad y'all had a good time, but that is a natural for Randy when he is the host.
I talked to Randy this morning and asked him if he hurt his back taking all the money he made from the rally to the bank. lol

Wanna give props to Jim Hamlin.  He serviced my V85 a day prior to this rally.  I jumped off from his shop and rode north on Friday to find him attending the rally on Saturday.  One of the good Guzzi guys!  He GETS it.

Jimmy's top dog.  We are very fortunate to have him.
Some think it's crazy for me to visit at a touch over 800 miles  round trip.  They haven't been there.............. ......
