Went on an organized dual sport ride yesterday.  Here is my favorite photo from that ride.

2WA, how do you like the Himalayan?
I was sorry to see Itchy Boots switch over to Honda.  What a one-person marketing message!

I don't off-road, but this single, with a fairly full set of available accessories, seems to be an ideal way to do some trail riding to somewhat remote camping sites.

I'll never find it, but my favorite was on the last page of Cycle World, where they had the funny photo every month.

Guy riding past one of those electronic "your speed" signs that the police put by the side of the road.  In this one, I thing it said speed limit 35, and the "your speed" sign said 159.  Now, that there is funny.

I was there and it was really sad! I had a broken leg and couldn't do anything to help. My wife drove me there in her car.

Sorry, I hit post too soon.  This was taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway in October of '18.  I was riding with a BMW club.  It was a gorgeous fall day!

Be well,

Good idea for a thread. Many great pics everybody  :thumb:

Of the ones I've scanned, I guess its this one taken somewhere around Teslin Yukon in 1992. I still have most of the hair  but it hasn't been brown for a long time

Dave,
I could look at Pre-Unit Triumphs All Day Long.  They just do it for me.  Add a Jake and my day is made.

I am loving it.  Low seat height for an off road capable bike.  Pulls like a tractor.  Once broke in revs smoothly to redline.  Easy to maintain.  My only nit would be if you need to ride 65 mph or over for sustained periods, especially uphill will definitely challenge the bike.  It willingly does it, but I feel like I am riding it hard at those speeds.  It really shines up to 55 mph and handles the street and dirt very well at sane speeds.

Thanks ...... sounds like it fills the bill for a low cost mini GS type bike.
