I think my dizzy has been 180 degrees off this whole time if thats possible. while going through the timing diagnosing the vibrations, I noticed the dyna rotor had lot of "wobble/run out", to the point it wore a way an area between the set screws and chamfered the edge of the sensors on the plate. I couldn't get the rotor to spin without hitting the sensors. I then noticed that the dizzy shaft isn't completely round (which I guess some of you already know), anyway if I positioned the rotor where the 2 flat areas are, it spun true. then I looked at the notch in the central shaft and it was at @5 o'clock while the right cylinder was tdc. as per guzziology it should be at 11 o'clock (which I knew already) how I ended up installing it like that I have no idea, tired maybe? is it possible to have run that many miles like that? I guess so. im going to take a break from the bike for a while to clear my head. to much confusion over this has me chasing my tail. need to step back and clear my head a bit I guess. I already reinstalled the dizzy and set the static timing with a light. lights come on in the right spots
