  A pile of parts to build a 61 BSA  A10 650...None of these parts know each other so it's a sort of a meet and greet..Like my other builds it'll be stripped down but  with a full suspension and look like a modified Brit bike, not Harley styled...

A daunting task, but for someone like yourself that knows the bike down to the connecting rod bolts, it should be fun.   I've got a '61 A10 but it's all in one piece, just needs the valves adjusted and different handlebars - I told myself I'm not riding it again until I take the narrow SP-NT bars off of it that I thought I would like and put something else on ....

Oh, it's still a bit daunting, it's been 20 years since I messed with one. Parts are not as easy to find like old Triumphs.Connecting rods are a problem, the original aluminum rods can never be trusted unless you know the history....I really don't  want to spend 450 bucks for R&R alloy or MAP  steel rods... But sawing the engine in half when an old rod breaks is not economical....

Very cool! I'm sure a cheaper solution will show up for the aluminum rods.

That looks a lot more difficult than my Norton Combat project - a basket case missing about 40% of the pieces - the big stuff all present. But I'm new to Nortons and brit bikes so I'm learning.

I'm sure the memories will come back and you'll have fun putting it together.
