Norge Foot Pegs

I know this is an old subject but after trying the Goldwing pegs on my Norge I found I did not like how wide they were. And it seemed from what I could find the choices were either custom pegs or Goldwing pegs both pricey even for the used Goldwing. So I did some research and purchased a set of V7 peg rubbers (Right GU32443210, Left GU32443210 around $10 each new) they bolt directly on and are within a few mm of the Goldwing hight while still being narrow.

To clarify, you removed the Gold Wing rubber and replaced it with the V7 rubber but on the Goldwing metal platform?

No, replace the factory footpeg rubber with the V7 rubber.

I've been looking for a set of the GL1800 footpegs and brackets for my Breva. The breakers I typically buy from don't have any now, and I'm balking at the new ones for $$$$$ for the moment until I can search a bit more.

If anyone has a set you're no longer using please let me know! Gotta get those feet lower on the Breva...

Thanks Paul but I think you need to change the MOUNTS as well - am I wrong?

Kurakian has these, but the bolt holes don't look right to mount on our CARC bikes....

On my Norge, I presume the Breva as well, you only need to change the footpeg and the spring, but no need to change the mount itself.  Super easy plug and play.

I've been running a Gold Wing set on my Norge for many years, and thought I might try a set on my Griso (hence why I purchased an extra set recently).

By the way, the set I bought from that link on Ebay, they rattled a bit, so I took the rubber off, put a small space in between the rubber and metal and it tightened up, so no more rattling...not that would ever hear it, but I like things to be tight!

In all your pondering, also consider the Knight Design offerings.  I've been very happy with mine on my 8V Norge.

Will measure this weekend but off the top of my head it was 1/2 inch at least, maybe a bit more...I'll get the tape measure out.

You can keep the regular GL springs if you drill a small hole in the porkchop to locate the little spring tab...  maybe everyone isn't into that, bat thats what I did instead of waiting on new springs to put on my used pegs.

Also, FYI the left GL peg will interfere with the side stand unless you have the euro-spec stand... the US one rests against the bottom of the peg. The peg DOES NOT pus the side stand down enough to influence the kill switch-FYI

 I only noticed the vibration for the first two rides, and I do not wear heavy stiff boots- usually leather chuck taylor's with leather laces.. or some other soft mid-high sneaker boot type.

Has been a good mod for me-- if anyone wants I can post pics of the install

Here's what I used put a set on my Norge and actually on the stornello as well. I like how wide they are gives me more options for foot positioning on the peg. So far, I don't need them on the 1200 Sport. I bought mine for the Norge five years ago and was about $10 cheaper, but $46 is not a lot compared to other options.


You do not need to change the brackets, they go straight on. we only Moto Guzzi I've had so far that did not have normal peg bracket orientation was the MGX21. Has the good mayor of barbecue says, you can use the stock Guzzi springs if you put a little set screw in the peg. otherwise you can grab some universal sport bike peg springs very cheap. For the Norge I replaced the springs, but for the Stornello I added a small set screw on the new peg and used the stock springs.
