New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
From Portland...anyone here? Wonder what the final hammer price will be? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1998-moto-guzzi-centauro-v10/
That's nice. In the real world, Centauros sell for anywhere from $3500 to $5000. On BaT (the "Moe's" of auction sites) it might go for $10,000 - who can tell?Lannis
What exactly is wrong with Guzzi's fetching more money on BAT? Should the owner post it on MGNOC Classified and settle for $3K and that would be after all the high pocket whining about the price?
I’m not saying that there is anything “wrong” with Guzzi’s selling for more money. What my post attempted to convey, is that many vehicles, Datsun's, Mazda’s, Porsche’s etc., are sometimes bid, way beyond market reality. That’s all.
....That brings up the question of "Has anyone here ever sold a bike on Bring-A-Trailer?" The bikes that are deemed worthy for sale seem to sell for two or three times what they trade for in the world I live in, ones I've bought and sold, anyway. Is that what folks' experience is?Lannis
Rick,DsrDave pretty much covered it. As a seller and buyer, they have access to your CC. When I bid, they put a charge hold, at 5%. If you don’t win the vehicle, it gets released.
Speaking of tasty 8-valve Guzzi's...we saw this gem at Powersports Outlet (the Guzzi dealer) in Prescott today!
JJ, What is the silver, red frame Guzzi, behind the Daytona RS?
I hope the buyer knows how to work on that bike and can obtain all the parts needing to keep it running. Or alternatively, just keep it one display.
