.... I though I'll need  tiny ''guardian bell'' to my guzzi. Actually I bought two of those (to both sides of bike) ... my lion & tiger.

"Karma Bells" of various sorts and descriptions are an old and honored Moto Guzzi tradition.   If you hang one from your front brake caliper or fender support, it will help sweep aside things that might cut your tire.

If you hang one from your front engine mount, it will help keep the engine running well.

For a Karma Bell to work effectively, however, it must be given as a gift ... otherwise (so says the Guru) it does not have the desired effect.

The Wheel of Things turns, and the same spoke comes uppermost over and over, but a Karma Bell will help you make the best of it ....

That's what I heard, I was at the Deep Woods Campout one year and I woke up to find one decorating my bike.
What you do is give one to a riding buddy, chances are you will get one back.

My best,and only, karmic totem has been to keep a well worn-by-a-dear-departed-dog collar bell on my tank bag.
I hold the hope that my canine predeceased spirits watch over me.

I think one of these things would drive me crazy and be a distraction, but YMMV 

Besides, in the words of Bono "Grace" travels outside Karma. I'll take (and need) Grace any day.

I'm thinking that she bought these because the forces that work with karma told her to do so. I think that karma will now keep her safe!! Maybe she will also pass one of them on and karma will follow that one as well.

And what what we give it is a reminder and an expression of the "Pay It Forward" philosophy.   If someone helps you with no expectation of payment, don't waste time trying to convince them to take something for what they did.   YOU pay it forward to the NEXT guy - surprise him with a favor, with something unexpected, with help he didn't think he would get, and maybe a Karma Bell will remind HIM of what to do next, and .... and .....

You might be surprised how many riders have a Karma bell, I have on on each of my bikes and both my regular riding buddies do also.
I wish I had given one to a lady friend who crashed recently spending about a month in Hospital and writing off her bike.
Common sense tells me it wouldn't have made a difference but at least she would know I care.

I won a pair of Karma bells years ago at the Virginia Guzzi Rally when it was still in Buena Vista. I tied them on my front end before we left Sunday morning. We had breakfast and and my wife and I got fully loaded on the Mille. Shortly after leaving we were climbing high steep curvy road. I had the revs up in 2nd  as I was pushing a 1000#s with the 2 of us and gear. Uphill we came around a hard decreasing radius curve in 2nd gear and met a semi crossed over and taking up 1/2 my lane. I throttled up and quickly counter steered out of his way and continued on home thanking those Karma bells for the help.
