New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Yes, that’s why I said in my post title I think I am going nuts! I can’t explain it but I have had a complete change of heart regarding my “toys”. For some reason I have been riding (in the cold temperatures), except for the last few days as I am out of state for the Holidays, and I have been motorcycle reborn, so to speak. I can’t explain it but I have a hunger to add more bikes to my herd. (I still might sell a bike or two that I have now). Then I started looking and so far I haven’t decided which toy(s) to add but I’m looking at a Honda Fury, two old Honda cb 750 choppers, a Jeep Wrangler, or a Pontiac solstice! It’s almost like I am going through a midlife crisis at the age of 63! This year I sold my 1973 VW beetle, and my 1990 f150, and last year I sold my 1952 Studebaker, so maybe that is why I am looking to add more toys, but I cannot explain the change of heart. I didnt say for 100% sure that I am not selling any of my existing bikes, (Stelvio, Gold Wing, 1971 Honda CB 750 Chopper) as that is still a possibility, but I am looking at adding some too. I do know my riding style has changed (maybe because I am getting older) but carving up curves at a fast speed does not interest me at all. More laid back enjoy the scenery type riding is now my forte! Again, I can’t explain why but I have had a complete change of heart over the past couple of weeks or so! Maybe I really am going nuts! Merry Christmas!
So, I still have to look at the Triumph and two old school choppers, if they dont sell before i return from the holidays.
That Fury is cool. Didn't mean to buy it out from under you! I wish!All this time I thought those bikes were in Wisconsin for some reason. I have driven through snowstorms twice to snag a good deal on a northern bike.
Bob, no interest in the new V85TT?Brian
Yes I am interested in that bike, but I dont know if I want to spend 12k or whatever they cost now on my next bike. Have not decided yet.
I am going to go look at this one next. Looks awesome so far to me.
Is that the same as your current one, just with newer engine, and drag bars? Are you using chopper exchange or a forum to find these?Bubba told me to tell you that you need another bike like you need another hole in your head.
....and the hunt goes on. The activity should keep you warm.
so the next three I am going to look at are;1981 CB 750 Chopped on Amen Savior frame2017 Triumph Tiger 800 XcX2004 Jeep RubiconIf I was rich I would buy all three, but since that isnt the situation I will limit myself to one. lol. Merry Christmas.
My vote is for the Triumph Tiger 800If I was a rich man I would buy it for you
Doesent look like my offers are going to be accepted on the CB 750 or on the Jeep, so Im going to concentrate on the Triumph next;
Bob:Have you ever driven a Solstice? My wife wanted one of those cars so bad. She thought it could replace the old Fiero she once had. So we shopped around and we both test drove one. Most difficult car to see out of I've ever driven. Low roof line, tiny rear window, huge blind spots. Then there was the "trunk" or lack there of. We also learned if you park outside with the front sloping down hill at all, rain water runs up agains the rear glass and leaks into the "trunk"compartment, such as it is. The one we drove had about 3 inches of standing water in it! So if you get one, don't leave it outside for any length of time. Don't want to burst your bubble, but the one test drive was enough to put us off.
