Had good luck at Interstate Battery with the EV I used to own. They also treated me right with a new battery that tested fine but was giving me “no start” issues with my Norge. They replaced that battery for free after 6 months or so. Can also find locations across the country if that needs to happen.

Check your dimensions.  I bought one from battery + which I was assured would be the correct match. And it did fit, but my tool tray did not.

Sealed lead acid battery from WalMart or whatever is closer to you.

If you think you might want to go with an Odyssey, PC925L or PC925LMJ is the right one. The L designations put the terminals on the correct ends.

+1.  This was the old standby. I went to go buy one,  I think for my scooter. And the guy talked me out of it. Said they weren’t as good as they used to be. Of course we all know that there’s like three companies that make batteries and they just put different labels on them. For the most part.

I'm using the MotoBatt 16 in my Griso and so far so good.  Advantages are it comes factory sealed and you have four terminals instead of 2.  The 16 is a little lighter on cca than the stock Yuasa but in one season that hasn't been a problem.  The 20 should be fine for you as long as it fits.  I got mine off of Ebay for $80 and it shipped directly from their Jacksonville address.

I have used MotoBatt batteries in both my Breva 1100 and EV. Back about a month or so ago got stranded on my EV using a MotoBatt. Shut bike down for gas and wouldn't even click. Bike would start with a jump box and die 30 seconds later so first time to trailer a Guzzi back home. After investigation I noted corrosion down inside the threaded positive battery terminal causing the bike not to start/run. On the Breva the bike would just not start no matter what I did so I switch over to a AGM Yuasa and not a problem 3 years later and going strong. As for the EV I have now switched over to a Yuasa AGM sealed as well and could not be happier. From now on I will only use Yuasa batteries in my bikes.

I have just ordered a replacement battery for my B1100.  Batteries plus, their store brand agm.  I am replacing the same battery after 5 years, 12-15 to 12-20 pretty good in my book, just because.
If I remember correctly, on my 02 Stone, as mentioned above, you need to pay attention to which side the terminals are.....

I've posted about it several times, so I'm not going into the tech a 4th time.  However, one reason the guy selling (or nor selling) the Odyssey is, according to the company, for proper life expectancy is that product needs to see a specific voltage from the charging system.  My jackal did NOT put that out and the very small sample I've seen also does not put out enough juice, again according to the company.  I did have a long chat with the tech dept there.  They have some of this on their website.  Stock lower output from the OEM system may have something to do with "they are not as good anymore".

The Extreme XL from B Plus should be the East Penn sealed AGM.  Ive had good luck with those in both my car and the EV.  They just don't make it in th Griso size with the right terminal orientation.

Any Group U1 lawn / garden tractor battery will do the trick. 300 CCA or higher if you can find one. Granted, they're only warrantied for a year but they're cheap. I usually get about three years out of them. I've bought most of them from Farm and Fleet when they're on sale for about $35. The good thing is you can get them almost anywhere.
You can spend as much as you want when it comes to batteries but it some point the returns start diminishing.
I've used these batteries in every Guzzi Big Twin I've owned since 1993 and have nothing to complain about.

Good Luck
Mark

Thanks to all for your thoughts. I ended up just getting an AGM from WallyWorld with 400CCA. It fits well and time will tell if it lasts very long.

I've been going by how much per year. Cheapest so far for my EV, Cal2, V700 is a UPS type that Motoark turned me on to. Free used one that lasted 12 more years. 34 or 35AH AGM U1 Group   I paid $100 in 2010 and it's like new crank w/o charging ever, but they only sit a few months before riding rotation. American made

The same exact batt  http://www.sunxtender.com/solarbattery.php?id=1

Chinese made

I have Batt + one still like new 3yrs

I would pay more for a better WalMart battery.

Seeing as I have had the current 2001 EV for 14 years I went back and looked at the maintenance sheet. Pretty much the battery fails at the 4-5 year mark. the last time it had been sitting in the Az garage for 9 months on a charger and just didn't have much punch left init. I went to an O'Reilly and got a made in USA. I can't remember if was Deca or Exide. The one they list now doesn't specify.
the time before that I had stopped at a Micky D's for a burger ( I rarely do that) and when I came out it was dead. pulled it out carried it 200 feet to car parts and got whatever they had.
All of my past experience is if it's good then it will last 4-5 years. But if Chinese it's a 50/50 bet it will fail soon and at a most inconvenient time. so seeing as the Walmart battery is the same basic price as the USA-built stuff I will keep buying USA.
Choices aren't many, Deka, Exide, interstate, Yuasa are I believe.

I recently replaced the first Big Crank/Deka ETX30L I ever installed in a customer's Guzzi. 9 years old. Would still start the bike, but didn't seem to have any reserve left. That particular customer never uses a charger or maintainer of any sort.

I have a 97 1100 Cal. I put a standard Batt for a HD you can get at most all part stores and made a bracket to hold it into place. Whole lot less money, cranks every time. My 2 cents BK.

I have used Odyssey PC680's in my 1998 EV's with great results. Like when I lived in Connecticut and kept the bike in the shed with no charger from late December until first thaw in March and a seven year old battery cranked the bike right up at only 40 degrees ambient. I got nine years and over 100,000 miles out of the first one and replaced it because I was going on a coast-too coast trip and didn't want a decade-old battery to pick Nebraska to die.I stuck it on a shelf in the basement and after about two years I put it on the Battery Tender for a day and a half and used it to do the first start on my "1100S" I had made from my second 1998 EV. I kept using it for a month while I finished the build (it was weak but never failed to start) until I got a fresh PC680. My traveling EV's second battery was about eight years /70,000 miles and still going strong when I totaled the bike in 2019. The 1100S had a bad battery that failed at about a year old, and was replaced for free under warranty. It's now almost six years old and still strong.

The 680 is about 1/3 narrower (and lighter) than the 925, which leaves just enough room for the cigar-box "big dumb brain" ECU to fit in the vacant space.

Both of my EV's have/had EuroMotoElectrics regulators and stators to replace the failed original parts, maybe that's why I don't have the issue that KingOfFleece mentioned with inadequate recharging.
Trying out the motorcycle life from the other side of the counter.
