In that you were PD, you will probably appreciate these.  Taken at the Sherriff Museum In Old Town, San Diego, CA.

No idea whether the fairing shown on the Kawasaki seen here is a Vetter or not.  My guess would be Pacifico...

Those KZ1000 were totally work horses. They were rough around the edges, buzzy and stiff but unstoppable!
They were a cut above the Honda’s but the ole CB900C did good for what they were.
