Even without Mahomes the defense stepped up.
The showed a lot of heart.
The Browns were a worthy opponent.

I hope Mahomes is OK and will be able to play next weekend; would be a great match-up between two outstanding young QB's. Browns had a good showing, covered the spread, so I lost a bottle of bourbon to my daughter over a bet (she and my wife are rabid Browns fans).

I am a big Green Bay Packer fan (Born and raised there, so i had no choice, lol), and we have to play Tom Brady the best of all time i guess, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Not looking forward to that!  Oh Boy, its going to be a tough game for the Packers.  Congratulations to the Chiefs.

Very exciting game. Too bad that guy tried to unscrew Mahomes head from his body.  And that 3rd down run and 4th down call?!

Chiefs and Packs. A replay of the first Super Bowl.  I'm a Chiefs fan and like their style of play.  The Pack is pretty dynamic too.

I hope Mahones gets well, his toe and his concussion.  He was pretty gimpy before he was knocked out of the game.

I have to question using Mahomes for a short yardage run where he might get hurt.  He's deadly in the open field scramble but not built for short yardage IMO.  Anyway, he was ultimately successful, the Chiefs won.

Too bad the Chiefs have to play Josh  Allen and the Bills. Long range forecast is for temp of 40 and winds at 10mph with gusts to 20mph. Just right for a Josh Allen feast! And remember - Sean McDermott's D held the ravens to 3 points!
Watch Allen closely. He makes throws every game that are true WOW throws. He sees throws that only Rogers and Mahomes see. He has progressed at an unreal pace this year. The last 7 games are what Josh Allen can do.
I'll always remember Joey Bosa's comment on Allen when the Bills played the Chargers this year. "What do you expect me to do? Let him run over me? He's fu$$ing huge." Can't wait for Saturday!!

Yeah, the Bills are good. A much better team then when they played the Chiefs earlier in the year and lost.
Sure hope Mahomes is healthy, otherwise......”HenneThingIsPossible" to quote Mahomes

Whole lot of new Bills fans in the San Joaquin Valley out here in Central California.  Josh Allen hails from Firebaugh a small farming town in western Fresno County.  No major colleges gave him much of a look out of high school so he came to Reedley College, a junior college in Reedley and played a year there.  I live and work in Reedley.  Then on to the University of Wyoming and the rest is history.  A good kid and a hero out here.

It gets cold & windy as hell in Kansas City.  Don't forget, the KC spread formation is wrongly considered a passing formation, the rushing and speed are just as successful.  It's 50-50 pass-run.

Chiefs fan since DT was drafted in 1989. Mahomes is one of the 3 people on earth I'd like to meet. He's a special kid.

That said, this upcoming battle against the Bills has me nervous.

KC is going to have its hands full with the Bills. If Mahomes isn't able to play, I'd give the edge to Buffalo. If Mahomes is in, the edge goes to KC. Games are supposed to be tough at the this level and this one should be. Last I checked Chiefs were favored by 3, which isn't much. The last time these two teams played for the AFC title game was in 1993. The Bills won. The quarterbacks were Jim Kelly and Joe Montana.

And on the other channel we have Rodgers vs Brady. That should be a good one too.

Congrats to the Chiefs.

The Browns looked a lot better than the Bills but a loss is a loss.  I don't think the Bills will win a trophy for sportsmanship.  Next year looks better for the Browns.

Now it's Brady vs Mahomes.  I'm not rooting against either one of them.  Both are worthy competitors and represent the very best of old and new.   I'm still a Chiefs fan.

Go Chiefs.

Yep.. Our Bills got their behinds kicked......but good.  As for sportsmanship, and sticking up for their QB, we loved it.  I was the same way as a high school and college athlete.  Now, MUCH older and a referee, I can't let it go on the field, but deep down inside I love a kid who sticks up for another teammate.  I can't tell him that, mind, but I get it.

Guess that explains why I led my team in red cards two years in a row................ .......

Your QB was tackled and he threw the ball at the tackler.

BTW- if he'd have gone down or thrown the ball, you guys would have 100 yards more offense and I think it was only 3 or 4 sacks.

Still kind of in shock that the Bucs are there but you just can't rule out Brady. You, I, may not like the guy but I have respect for his abilities and perseverance.

Yes, he did, but he was also put down after the play was dead.  During the season that's called every time.  I don't begrudge him for that at all.  He got flagged.  He had plenty of complements for the KC defense last night on TV.  They all did-said the better team won.  And, maybe he was a bit miffed that the officials missed the knock down hook the KC D lineman took and connected with to Bills right guard.  Stuff builds up.  Competitors get a bit frustrated at times.  I personally don't blame any of them.   Not defending it per say.  He got flagged-as it should be.  Next play.

And it's not just football.  Leagues are clueless  most of the time.  Bertuzzi suckers a guy from behind and breaks his neck.  Lemiue runs a guy into the open boards door and fractures his face.  That crap never happened when players policed themselves.

Next play.

Gotta agree with you.  There should be better sportsmanship.  Even if it's not for the good of the game, for self preservation.  Pretty telling from the Cleveland game where the guy gets targeted and it's not reviewable.

The sad thing is, everyone of these players is going to leave the game with a permanent disability.  All of them physically and many of them mentally too.  Amazing how many drop dead in their 50s.

Gee i figured on a Guzzi site you'd be talking about Hank Stram, Willie Lanier, Bob Bell, Lenny Dawson, Otis Taylor and of course my favorite kicker Jan S. Didn't realize you were talking modern Chiefs.
