I would part with my 72 Eldorado for a pre war 500 single, not picky on the model, just want to ride a girder front end bacon slicer.

...(a bit like when you see something fetching while your partner is with you..).

Of course I won't admit to any urge to stray.........

Maybe, if I could use Chuck's or Dave's V11 for some weeks, I wouldn't return to the Griso?
It's just that that Griso motor is such a gem......

The bike needs to be owned by a current WG member.

Lovely bike JJ but it would have to be a Guzzi single!

My 72 Eldo, forks converted to FAC dampers, dual disc brakes, leg shields and floor boards, Wixom luggage, alternator, everything rebuilt / replaced, anyone with a 500cc Guzzi Bacon Slicer want to make a trade?

Never saw it in person, but Greg Field's Super Eldo would be my pick.  Breathed on engine, super suspension, brakes, alternator, end to end improvements.   I'd rather have one like that than any new Guzzi.

I think I'd about agree with you there...

Joliet Jim’s yellow bike he had listed for a while. Is it a V11? Anyways, if I’d had the ready cash that would have been the one.

I’d like to introduce a factor into y’all’s deliberation processes.
When you nominate your bike, ask yourself..
What would I do if the ‘phone rang NOW and the owner of your stray said...”ok, let’s do it...”
If Dave Swanson rang me regarding his V11 Sport for my Norge..?
I wouldn’t have the heart or the balls to say yes...(but I could easily perv on her all night..).
BTW..I’m aware that Norge’s are a dime a dozen and we’re talking about a covert illicit affair here, not a relationship..

I’d pimp the wife for Blackcat’s ice blue 850 LeMans.  Only until it was paid off, of course.

I would take Chuck's whole stable, from the Scura to the MZ.. but the Aero Lario more than any other.

Dave Swanson's V11 or 1000s are the two finest examples I've seen. The 1000s is already my favorite bike and the Sparklehorse connection is just too good...

BlackCat's LeMans

hmm what else do I covet

oh yeah, elevenminusone's Eldo!

That goes awfully close to Dave’s bike, but I balk at the perceived complications that your engine has.
Dave’s bike is a simpler device.

Lotsa cool bikes..... but only one, no thanks.  I'd rather bum a 40 or 50 mile ride on a bunch of those then say thanks.

For someone with deep pockets, it would be a cool business.  Rent short rides on exotics, 50 miles for $100?

Not sure but he needs some style advice. White socks and slip on flip flops!
Bad enough in any circumstances but on the bike?

I tried but did not succeed.
