Not sure why they got rid of the sporty Guzzis, especially since they worked the bugs out of the top end.  Perhaps they couldn't meet Euro emission compliance?

Interesting,  the griso' s seem to becoming more sought after on the used market. A few new ones are still out there but few. A friend on the west coast has been keeping an eye out for a low mileage griso and they get snapped up as soon as they get listed.  Could they be the first collectable modern Guzzi? All the carc series bikes are fantastic and a rollerized 8v is virtually bulletproof. A shame that they haven't replaced the big block roadster .....yet?

Very cool looking bike, no doubt. I for one have no interest in a foot-forward cruiser. My V7 will likely be my last new Guzzi unless that changes.

The Griso is the type of bike that Guzzi comes out with about once every 15-20 years that defines Guzzi and stands out in the styling world along with real world performance.

Couple of Griso conversations:
#1) Gent in lovely black MB sedan with FL tags at gas station.  Was ready to drive off, stopped, walked over to my 2012 Tenni Green 8vSE. Asked who made it, walked around the bike, asked if it was ok to take a couple of pix.  I asked him if he rode.  "Never, but I have a good friend that does.  I want to show him pics of this bike."

#2) As I walk out of a coffee bar, there's an individual looking at the Griso.  Typical questions .... who makes it, and where is it made?  Answer ..... Moto Guzzi, Italy.
His response, "I should have known  ..... Italy .... the most stylish clothing, finest shoes, and now I know, the best looking motorcycles!"

I learned a long time ago that more often than not its the rider, rather than the bike that matters.
