I got a notification and had the opportunity to click on it an hour later and she already had 22,000 views.  Now at 3 hours 49,000 views.  Hoping she hits a Million subscribers this year.

Itchy seems to have more intrinsic appeal than that washed up pole dancing “On Her Bike” sheila.
At least with Oraly, she gives you an insight into the prep and thought processes involved in her quest.

I admittedly have the attention span of a flea, but I really don't understand how people can watch this stuff. Sure she is adorable, and I admire her transparency but come on....

I will say however, that I would prefer to watch her all day any day than to watch that Ian McGregor knucklehead.

Thats a bit harsh Peter, both are doing their thing in slightly different ways.
But yes I also find Noraly more appealing.

I have to be careful giving my unsolicited opinion on these matters Pete.
I am somewhat of a target for being labelled as jealous, but seriously I’m not. When does the pole dancer actually DO ANYTHING, other than take the chance to sway around semi naked in crystal clear pools and arch her back for the strategically placed viewer.
If I want that stuff, it’ll be Red Tube not You Tube...

I’m not 100% sure JRT but I think that one can earn a considerable amount of money from the more views they get on Utube entries. Someone jump in on this and I stand corrected if my understanding is inaccurate.

Not sure about her YouTube revenue, but she worked for years in the mining industry worldwide (geological engineer?) and has said a few times that she has sold everything to finance her travels. She has a sponsor or two for her gear, accepts donations and sells merch. I'm sure that as she is better known, she will be comped more and more. I'm sure if she came to Cedar Vale she would not need to spend a nickel...

There is a revenue stream through  YouTube but it has a wide variation based on many factors such as location of viewers,  are ads getting clicked on, etc.

She also started selling merchandise and was fulfilling the orders personally while in the Netherlands.

Early on people were donation some gas and lodging moneys to her as well.

This started as a holiday less than 3 years ago and has grown into her livelihood now.  She has sponsored gear from a local gear maker "Rev-it" , and sponsored luggage.

Her income comes from us viewers watching, clicking, and buying merchandise.

That makes sense.  I have taken one fairly extended trip that I saved up for and paid myself- long ago, before the days of crowd-funding.
More and more, I see people that are able (or willing) to do very expensive, time consuming endeavors and I think back to the jokes when I was younger- 'you'll never be able to earn a living playing video games'.  Well, now some people do.  And some people are able to earn a living traveling and reporting their stories.  Good for them.
Good for her, whoever she is (sorry- never heard of itchyboots before).
Now...how do I find the time to hit even a couple of rallies this year?!
